Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

 

When I am on a phone call and I receive another Phone call, the current call is interrupted and the new calls phone is read to me. This is very disruptive to my client on the current phone call.

 

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

 

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

@PMarkulin @Vicky_W (I do not work for Bose)

1. I may be wrong, but are you sure that it happens only with your particular Bose device.  I can't remember if I still get the announcement when a second call comes in while I am on a call.  I vaguely recollect getting it on both Bose speakers (Revolve) and headsets (QC35).

2. Do any 'experiment' and verify that it happens with just Bose products - do it by having someone call you while you are on call and do it with just the phone (no bluetooth at all) - try both internal speaker and the speaker phone.   If it does not happen on your phone - then it has something to do with the Bose

3. If you have an iPhone, make sure the speaker settings for the phone have "Announce Calls" set to "never"

4. If you determine it only happens when a Bose device is connected, I do not believe (unless Bose here states otherwise), that there is anything you can do about it since there is no option in the Bose Connect utility that has anything to do with incoming phone calls.
