Bose 700 Headphones Suddenly Lowered Sound Quality and Forwards Outside Noise?

I was listening to music, then all of a sudden the music quality dropped to very low quality, and it sounds like outside sounds are being "forwarded" via the microphone into my ear. I can hear myself type on the keyboard at 10 noise cancelling level. What? How do I fix this? Even when I'm not connected to any device, it still does the weird sound forwarding thing.

Hey @seanfmch,

That certainly sounds odd! What were you watching/listening when this started happening? What device did you have the headphones connected to when this occurred?

What I'd recommend trying first is a standard reset of the product, shown HERE. This will help address the minor issues in place.

If you find after trying this the problem is still happening, just let me know so I can assist further!
