Bose AE2 Soundlink - Sound cuts off in Macbook Air and Surface Pro 7

I have tried what they said below and they are still aren't functioning properly. What other things can you suggest to get them fully functioning?


Welcome to the community my friend, we're here to help!  Glad to hear that you're enjoying your headphones, let's get them working 100% for you.  On the headphone's end we can try a reset.


  1. Turn the headset off and wait for 30 seconds.
  2. Plug the headset into a USB power supply via USB cord and wait 5 seconds. (Power supply needs to be plugged into the wall with power on).
  3. Unplug USB cord from headset and wait 1 minute.
  4. Turn on the headset and test if the headset works properly.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. Do you experience this with mobile devices?


I would recommend that you try clearing the pairing list. I have included the LINK HERE to assist you. Once complete, you will need to delete the pairing on your source device then connect again!
