Bose AE2 Soundlink Volume Buttons Not Responding

Specifically the up volume button. Which I discovered after testing the lower volume button a few times. So now anytime I listen to anything, my headphones aren't at max volume. So even if I have whatever I'm listening to at 100% on the device, it comes through lower on the headphones. Is there anyway to reset the headphones entirely some other way, or is it dependent on the physical buttons? Thanks in advance

Thanks for posting. That is unfortunate to hear. There is a reboot procedure for the AE2. Here are the steps"

 

To reboot your headset:

  • Turn off the headset and wait 30 seconds
  • Plug the headset into a wall outlet using a USB charger, then wait 5 seconds
  • Unplug the USB cord from the headset and wait 1 minute
  • Turn on the headset

If I could ask, have you experienced this issue when using the headset on a different device?
