Re: Bose Connect Update – 12.0 – June 9th 2020

@Wayne_MHow did you improve the UI?  I connected a QC35 ii and a Revolve and did not see a difference.  What have I missed?

Can you guys work on fixing Bose NCH 700 flashing white and red problem? This has basically bricked the headphone and made the headphones unusable. There are lots of angry people here who are slowly losing their patience.

Re: Bose Connect Update – 12.0.1 iOS only – June 11th 2020 BUT NO EQ?!

and still no EQ function...how difficult is it to include a bass/treble adjustment to this app like in Bose Music? or to add ability for QC35 ii to connect to Bose Music App?  is this at least on the horizon?

Re: Bose Connect Update – 12.0.1 iOS only – June 11th 2020 BUT NO EQ?!

For $350 Headphones, with the white noise issue that's STILL NOT resolved, I don't think there's much strategy being looked at for support with their own products.  This whole exeperience with Bose has really exposed a lack of true customer support for resolution on this issue (or refund us our $350 for defective headphones).  This is so frustrating!  I've got no responses to any of my posts on the continued noise issues.

Re: Bose Connect Update – 12.0.1 iOS only – June 11th 2020

Is this update meant to fix the QC 35 repeating disconnect issue with an iOS device when a Windows device is also connected? The description made me hopeful, but it has not fixed my disconnect issues with iOS. We all know the frustration when in a Teams meeting on Windows, and you lose sound (headset speaker and microphone) for several seconds when the headset is disconnecting and connecting to my iPhone ... and you understand that you lost an important part of the discussion.

Re: Bose Connect Update – 12.0.1 iOS only – June 11th 2020

@bohenrikI don't work for Bose and I may be way off on my assumptions but my understanding has been that the Bose Connect app is utility which solely communicates with a Bose device to manage various operational functions of the device (such as the Auto-off timer and whether it is in party or stereo mode).  Bose Connect works with multiple Bose devices of various types - headphones and speakers.  It is one of the two methods you can use to download and update the firmware in a Bose device - however, it does not substitute or augment the firmware.  By that I would suggest that any communicate between an iPhone and a Bose device over Bluetooth is done completely between the firmware in the iPhone and the firmware with the paired Bose Device.  And if a second paired windows device is connected with the Bose device again the communication occurs between the Bose device firmware and the code associated with the Bluetooth device driver (and the firmware in the bluetooth chipset/hardware).

So what I am suggesting that your problem when connected to both an iPhone and a windows device is totally independent of Bose Connect.  Bose Connect is a utility and has nothing to do with the ongoing communication between the QC35 and iPhone and windows device.  I would suggest a firmware change delivered to the QC35 would address your issue and it was last updated on 6/18/19 with 4.5.2.  An upgrade to Bose Connect has no impact on your issue.
