I recently upgraded my Bose Music App and now the Bluetooth Connections list is empty. Since this is the only way I know of adding devices I am no longer able to connect new devices to my headphones.
I am using and Android phone with Android version 8.1.0 and the latest version of the Bose Music App.
Hello Odynasty,
I am sorry to hear this!
What Bose Music Smart Home products do you own? We will happily assist you in reconnecting your products.
I am also experiencing the same situation:
Bose Headset700
Samsung S10plus (android 10 last patch may).
The bluetooth list in the app is empty, but the headset have still the 2 connection in memory.
I hopefully can pair with the button power.
But it's painfull to re-pair with the button and don't have any information in the app.
I have try ;
- clear cache of the app -> no effect
- clear device list on the headset -> no effect
- reinstall the app -> no effect
- reboot -> once the list reappear, but no luck all other times
I had the same issue, do you happen to have a random restart of the device?
for me, clearing headphone memories, deleting, and reinstalling apps did not work.
I didn't have random restart of the device.
I just received the JuneUpdate from the S10plus, I the list is now working again until when ...
Oddly enough, the list populates fine when I'm connected to wifi. But the moment I'm not connected to wifi, the list is empty again.
Your 're right !!!
The list is populated only if the wifi is connected to a network !!!
It's clearly a bug of the app ! Please fix it.
You can no longer switch sources. Whatever I had set up last time I used the app I'm now stuck with forever. There is no list and they automatically just connect to the last two I had set up. My NC 700 are now completely useless.
Same issue here. Everything updated to the latest version, but now I cannot see the list of devices or add new devices!
In addition to the terrible connectivity of the app (only successfully connect the headphones to the Bose Music app ~1/10 times, despite it easily connecting to the phone all the time) it keeps getting worse and worse! For such premium hardware (at least the price is premium) you would expect much, much better software to go along!
Very disappointing...
Anybody found a resolution to this? Mine just started acting up. App is set to automatically update the NC 700's firmware so that might have caused it.
