Re: Bose NC 700 Red/White blinking LED

I did not experience the red/white blinking led, however, I will share that i bought the new 700's a month ago, and I am extremely disappointed.

(Background: this is my 3rd nose NC set. I had 2 QC35's before that.

I use Samsung S10, iPad pro, and Thinkpad x1).

1. Battery drains too quick

2. Buttons locations are ridiculous. I always accidentally click the NC button on the left piece.

3. I get complaints constantly from people on the other side of audio and video calls that they can't hear me well.

4. The app rarely connects and when it does, it takes more than 30 sec to connect.

The hardware is what it is, but this is supposed to be your premium product... So at least get the software right...

Re: Bose NC 700 Red/White blinking LED

@Ziv.L,

Yes, this is sad...

What version of a software you have installed? 1.3.1, 1.4.12 or 1.5.1?

What do you mean by battery drains too quick, do you have Reduced Battery Life After Update To 1.4.12?

After full charge battery level exceeds 17-18 hours?

Cheers

Re: Bose NC 700 Red/White blinking LED

Hi @madbooba and thanks for taking the time to reply.

After a full charge, the  sayV.O. usually announces 18 - 20 hours. Effectively, after no more then 30 minutes of use, it will say 15-17 hours left. I mean, after using 30 minutes, the count will be reduced by more than 2 hours, it does not reflect actual use.

Thanks and regards

Re: Bose NC 700 Red/White blinking LED

After the upgrade to 1.5.1 I am getting a maximum of 17 hours battery life after the full charge.

Re: Bose NC 700 Red/White blinking LED

OK, nice, is there any estimated date when those issues will be resolved?

I have 10 days more to return these headphones, so if there is no progress in solving the issues I will have to return them and to buy some others and from a different vendor for sure.

Cheers,

Bojan

Re: Bose NC 700 Red/White blinking LED

What battery issue are you referring to? I'm wondering if it's the same as mine? I have been using the cable the headphones came with and the appropriate brick/usb adapter but the most my battery is holding is 14 hours and dropping.

@Arcaneian

If you have 1.4.12 firmware, then this is the reduced battery life issue .

Re: Bose NC 700 Red/White blinking LED

Still havent solved the rebooting/buzzing issue or stuttering. Also, is it just me or does anyone notice the noise cancelation isnt as good anymore?
