Every time I pause or turn off my music, my headphone starts making a silent but irritating beeping noise. The only way to make it stop is to restart the music or to lower the noice cancelling level.
Any similar experience? Any hint on how to fix this?

My Bose NC 700 have started beeping as of last night. The sounds are hard to describe so bare with me... The sounds are like a form of popping noise, that last for 30 to 60 seconds, and occur at random times and not limited to if I pause or play audio. The popping noise itself is closer to the sound of what a paintball machine sounds upon impact or what bubble wraps sound upon being popped.
I also have the latest firmware installed.
These pair of headphones are my study headphones due to the noise cancellation they provide. This popping noise is interfering with my focus when I am in the midst of studying. I understand these headphones are new and defects like this will occur.
Edit: The noise does occur with other paired devices.
Second Edit: The noise is now that of a breeze of wind - the noise changed after I repaired the headphones followed by later the popping sound.
