Bose NC Headphones 700 - Unable to connect to Bose Music app. Suggested solutions not helping.

When I attempt to connect my Bose 700 NC headphones to my iPhone through the Bose music app, the headphones are initially detected however when I press add product I face the error message - “Oops! something went wrong. We had trouble establishing an initial connection with your product.”

 

I have read some of the previous posts relating to this issue and have since tried:

- resetting the headphones

- clearing Bluetooth pair list
- reinstalling the app

None of these have worked. Are there any other suggestions?

I was trying to help users with similar issue before, it helped me, so you can try, just ignore steps for Android:
