Bose QC 35 II keep disconnecting from One Plus 6T

I have a pair of Bose QC35 II headphones that have just started randomly disconnecting from my One Plus 6T phone every 5-15 seconds or so.

I looked at other posts but they all said the same thing which was to update the firmware however my headphones are fully up to date.

Has anybody got any idea as to how I could fix this or is it a faulty pair?

I'm sorry to hear about your QC35 II's disconnecting from your One Plus 6T. I'd love to help.

Do you experience this when connected to alternative devices?

Updating the firmware is a great step to take. Was this completed through the Bose Connect app or via our online updater? If the app, please go to btu.bose.com on your computer to ensure that there were no errors during the installation. 

Additionally, I would recommend clearing the pairing list on your headphones. To do this, hold the switch in the Bluetooth position for 10 seconds until you hear "Bluetooth device list cleared". Then, on your phone and any other paired devices, delete the existing entry of the headphones from the Bluetooth list. 

Now reset your headphones by following these steps:

1. Turn off the headphones and wait 30 seconds

2. Plug the headphones into a wall outlet using a USB charger, then wait 5 seconds

3. Unplug the USB cord from the headphones and wait 1 minute

4. Turn on the headphones

Now reconnect the headphones and let me know if the issue persists.
