@rockran I moved to a new open office which was very noisy, so I had to buy a NC headphone asap, before getting crazy! I tested a few headphones and liked the QC35 II’s the best, mostly because of its comfort level. Very light weight, not too tight (clamping force) and my ears were not getting that warm compared to other headphones I tested. I was aware of this firmware issue, and also aware if you make sure the firmware update is not done, NC will be fine. I have no need to update the firmware if the headphones are working fine. Don’t fix when not broken! Not happy with Bose about this though, but my personal needs are more important.

I think it is just striking that Bose has to pay personal house visits.
That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard as the engeneering team
has enough test facilities to simulate any condition.
Bose is delivering ANC to the military.
There website reads: Noise reduction + Clearer audio = Increased mission effectiveness.
I'm very skeptical how this issue in their consumer electronics division is handled.
If these problems would have occur in the aviation or military division,
things would have been solved within a month. Such a shame.
