Indeed... basically any mention to FW downgrade is against the forum rules.
so... my advice would be to run the win10 BT troubleshooter and, also, test if the headphones work fine using a mobile phone.
So they censure us? Like communists?
I think that they don’t like the fact that the solution involves doing something with our private property. Like commies...
btw, they erased another post of you.
If they deletes it one more time i’ll spam their social media 🙂
sorry for asking but i have forgotten how do i check what firmware version i have on my headphones even the QC35 and the 700 without l get a update i have googled for 2 hours and not find it and now i give up.
and also has Bose closed down the QC35 after just 3 pages and not like this one 210 pages ?
Hope somebody can help me with the firmware question...
You can check it using the Bose Connect App for iOS/android.
or use the BTU app for windows/mac.
Nah, QC35i post is 21 pages: https://community.bose.com/t5/Around-On-Ear-Headphones/What-s-changed-with-QC35-s-new-Firmware-3-0-3...
Yes I agree, except that I don't expect to pay (near to) top $, to subsidize their softwarecdev when their marketing budget stretches to be a Mercedes F1 Sponsor! Bose have got their priorities upsidedown imo....their brand will lose value and buyers like me in the medium/long-term
Ok... This was just sad. Bought my head seat just an hour ago. Came home, put htem on, really satisfied. The I updated as I am used to with all modern electronics. And now there is noise that CRT TVs used to make when they had no signal and was all black and white scrambled pixels.
It resembles the noise that came when I tried to connect to my Linux computer and after the updated I wondered why this noise just reduced in intensity and did not disappear. So I googled, and here I am. Had I known I would not have upgraded to 4.5.2. The product feels sort of ruined for me now.
Replace them, they have to do it. It’s their fault.
or do what i’ve did (but they erased my post).
i had the same issue, so... i applied the 4.1.3 firmware. Now they are usable again.
