Bose QC 35 ii left ear plastic membrane busted

Hi, I've had my Bose QC 35 ii for 2 years now and it worked great until the left ear stopped working. I did a lot of researching and found out that the plastic membrane underneath the fabric needed pressure applied to it to work. I slipped in a slip of paper and the left ear worked again but temporarily. This issue kept reoccurring and after numerous times of shoving paper and removing it all the time, the membrane some how "popped." Usually when you press against it, you can feel it bounce back but it doesn't. Now the left ear won't work at all. HELP. Thanks!
