Firstly, can you please confirm if you see any LED's in the device? Please also ensure that you are only pressing the button and not holding it as this can cause the product not to power on. I would also recommend ensuring that your system is running the latest software via Btu.bose.com. If possible please also attempt a product reset, this can be done via:
Turn the speaker on
Press and hold the Multi-function button and Volume - button for 10 seconds
Once complete, the Bluetooth indicator flashes blue and a voice prompt prompts to select a language
