Disabling voice prompts on QC35 (without Bose Connect app).

Hello,

 

I was just wondering if there was any way to disable voice prompts on QC35 headphones without going through the Bose Connect app.

Hello renaud.pettersen, 

 

This feature can only be disabled using the Bose Connect app. 

 

To turn on or off voice prompts using the Bose Connect app:

  1. Open the app and wait while it searches for available Bose Bluetooth® products
     

  2. Tap the Settings icon in the upper-right to open the product settings menu
    Note: If you have more than one Bose Bluetooth product, swipe left or right to find it, then tap Settings
     

  3. Use the toggle next to Voice Prompts to turn prompts on or off.

I found out that if you let the voice repeatedly say " Ready to connect, download the bose connect app" enough times for several minutes, it eventually says,  "no device found".  At that point, YOU FINALLY DON'T HEAR THE VOICE ASK YOU TO CONNECT ANYMORE!!!   Hope this helps someone out there!
