Firmware update for QC35ii bricked my headphone

I was prompted to update my perfectly working QC35ii with 4.5.2 firmware in btu website so I accepted.

Firmware update blocked at 28% saying in log:

7/20/2019 01:47:48.263, Error, ExternalFlasher last command status: 2
7/20/2019 01:47:48.263, Error, Verification failed
7/20/2019 01:47:48.281, Error, ExternalFlasher last command status: 2
7/20/2019 01:47:48.282, Error, Error erasing SQIF

I tried 4 different PC, 3 different browsers, 3 different cables (first update attempt with original cable) but it's happening the same thing. Currently the headphone are bricked, they are not visible to any other bluetooth device and every button I press when they are turned on gives the same sound. I tried reset procedure without success and contacted my own country Bose support that never replied my email.
Is that anything I could do to avoid being stucked with an expansive useless plastic part?

Re: Firmware update for QC35ii bricked my headphone

Hello Venturozzaccio,

Welcome to the Bose Community, thanks for taking the time to post.

I am very sorry to hear you are having issues updating the QC35 II headphones.

I would recommend reaching out to support in your country for further assistance, as there is little else we can recommend in terms of troubleshooting.

Details can be found here. Please take into consideration the opening times of local service, and with emails, responses are typically made within 48 business hours.

Kind regards,
