Headphones not cancelling noise

I've had my over ear noise cancelling headphones about 3 years.  Recently, i've noticed that they aren't cancelling the noise like they used to.  I replace batteries as needed and have replaced the ear pads.

Has anybody had this problem or have ideas about solutions?

Re: Headphones not cancelling noise

If you're talking about QC 35 I, then most probably you have received the infamous 3.0.3 firmware update. Search this forum for more informations or click here -> https://community.bose.com/t5/Around-On-Ear-Headphones/What-s-changed-with-QC35-s-new-Firmware-3-0-3...

@Serj

Says he has replaced batteries - clearly not a QC35.  My QC25 uses a single AA battery.  I don't recollect anyone checking in or creating a thread on ANC for the QC25 in the last few months.  Was there?

I'm not sure of the model #, but it definitely uses a single AAA battery.
