Also seeing this issue on a recent purchase. As a result I’ll be returning my headphones tomorrow. No fix for an issue raised in 2019 and impacting a lot of users is very disappointing

Returning these tomorrow. Already called people randomly on my phone. Extremely embarrassing. Incredible that despite the complaints and frustrations you refuse to do anything about it. I’m done with Bose. Never again. There are other words I want to use but not going to lower myself. Good riddance
This "feature" can lead to embarrassing nonsense calls AND it is a privacy issue. I would think a company with a profile and reputation such as yours would want to protect privacy, not invade it.
If you do not deliver on a resolution, I will not stop at returning your product. We have had it with the invading devices! WE THE PEOPLE want our privacy BACK.
I tried the app. No such option. I downloaded another Bose app but it directed me to the one I already have. Where is this setting? Screenshot please.

I've gone through the blog and very disappointed in Bose; now a customer of over 20 years with an Est of over $20k in Bose Equipment.
To be clear, all Bose applications MUST have the option to TURN off devices from being in listen mode; it's wrong. Please update to allow choose "None" for "Voice Assistant"-

I would also like to voice that this feature is very annoying and I accidentally call or facetime random people when I take off my headphones. PLEASE find a way to fix this issue with an update!

Super annoying. I have to put my phone on airplane mode to stop the out going calls when i have the pods in my hands. Prioritise this feature. Dissatisfied this is not supported and will vote with my vallet on next purchase.
