I was wondering if it is possible to hear audio from two different devices simultaneously. For instance, audio from a MacBook and a smartphone at the same time. Or, hearing Discord chat from a MacBook Pro while hearing PS4 game audio at the same time (would plugging in the NC 700s to the PS4 controller disable the mic?).
My phone and MacBook Pro are both paired to the NC 700s at the same time, but I can only hear audio from one at a time. I'm a bit confused as to whether or not this is a limitation of Bluetooth 5.0 based on some things I've been reading about it.
Thanks for reaching out via the Bose Community. Welcome to the site.
I can confirm it is not possible to listen to audio from two different sources at the same time. You can connect to two devices simultaneously, but to hear audio, you need to pause audio on one source, then play audio on the second source. If you wish to learn more about this, please check out page 41 of the user guide here.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to reply.
