It should just work. Bose 700

I can't believe I paid a small fortune for this headset and it just doesn't work. Why do I need all this software thing why the software updates? This is a headset, I should be able to connect through bluetooth and just play. 

Just send this text to your devs and product owners, you need only a few things in terms of software: 
- Check if it's original

- connect to bluetooth

- change sound settings

 

It's blowing my mind how you can brick hundreds (if not thousands) of headsets just because of an update.  Just have these 3 things done properly and you will satisfy 90% of your customers. 

it shouldn't be that hard.
