Notice

The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Re: Last firmware 1.8.2 - several bugs

Hey Nor007,

Thank you for your post and welcome!

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues following the update. I'll be more than happy to help you!

I would recommend that you try clearing the pairing list on the headphones. You can do this by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds. Once complete, delete the pairing on your source device and reconnect. This should help with your Bluetooth issues.

Let me know how you get on!

Re: Last firmware 1.8.2 - several bugs

Thank you for your answer.

I followed your advice.

However, I would appreciate an answer on why the noise cancellation does not work after the update ?

It seems to me that it is an important feature of the headset and I would appreciate a confirmation that there is an issue with the last firmware and there is a possibility to rollback of if we will get soon an update.

I thought the noise cancellation was reduced, now I realise the noise cancellation does not work at all. If I reduce it, it only increase the level of the external mice...which is useless.

@Nor007, I am sorry to hear you are still experiencing issues with your noise cancellation. As you have tried all troubleshooting steps, the best option here would be to reach out to your local customer support center and explore the service options for your headset. You can do this by clicking this link here, selecting your region, scrolling to the bottom of the page, and selecting contact us. If you are in the US or UK you can also reach out via Facebook or Twitter and one of our team can help you there. Or you can book in an exchange on the UK or US website by selecting the option under the 'Support Tab'.
