Re: NC 700 took long time to switch between paired devices

Hello cheezsand,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bose Community.

I am sorry to hear of the time delay between switching devices with your NC Headphones 700.

This does seem like a rather long period. I would recommend resetting the headphones. To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect all cables from the headphones
  2. Connect one end of the USB cable to a USB-A wall charger or computer that is powered on
  3. Press and hold thePower/Bluetooth® button while connecting the small end of the USB cable into the USB-C port on the right earcup
  4. Release the Power/Bluetooth button after 2 seconds

Additionally, please clear the pairing list of the headphones. This can be done by holding the Power/Bluetooth button for approximately 10 seconds until you hear the prompt "Bluetooth device list cleared". Then, on all of your previously connected devices, go to the Bluetooth settings and remove/forget the NC Headphones 700. Now, reconnect the devices and test again.

Let me know how you get on with this.

Warm regards,

Charlotte G - Community Support

Re: NC 700 took long time to switch between paired devices

It still happen.

but I found what happen when it occurs.

when it delayed, Bose Music apps still show previous song what I stopped on bottom of screen.

it looks some interaction between nc700 and app when it switch source.

am I right?

Can it be improved in future?

Re: NC 700 took long time to switch between paired devices

Hello,

I have found scenarios it works or not.

switching devices is

works : stop music > run Bose Music app from playing device > play music other device

not works : stop music > play music other device

qc30 has no problem like this.

Hi Cheezsand,

Thanks for posting and updating us on this! I appreciate you sharing your findings.

Can you please let me know what sources you are pausing and playing? Have you also allowed the headphones a few moments to unpair before playing audio on the second device or are you attempting to connect instantly?

I look forward to hearing back from you regarding this.

Kind Regards,

Hector B
