Need a future fix for settings to stay. I want battery and not voice asst on/off as my default custom tap. However I set this, when I turn headphones off and later back on, it goes back to voice
asst on/off
Just do a hw reset it will fix it. Refer to manual for instructions
Also wrote a post about the issue, we need to push for this to be implemented. I don’t understand how this great annoyance could go by unnoticed - doesn’t bose staff use their own products?
Audio switched from NC700 to iPhone XS after 30 mins on call without requesting change.
Bluetooth still connected.
This update just made things worse. I could not use it with my laptop (Windows 10, Surface Pro 4 and now HP Spectre x360) before for music or online meetings (Teams, Skype, Zoom). But after this update, the crackling sound also appears when listening to Spotify on my Android (Google Pixel 3).
Instead of just keep telling customers to update drivers and firmware, could Bose acknowledge the problem and let us know what the plan is to fix it?
I don't want a refund. I want working headphones. That work with both my phone and laptop. As were promised the product specs.
So even with update surface pro 2 drivers and the latest Bose firmware the issue still occurs. My £12 broken headset is still needed and better. Returning for a refund.
No change ....with delation of all BT peripheral and with HW reset
Has anyone else noticed a difference in "noise cancelling" after this Firmware 1.3.1 when turned on and at 10 I'm feeling way more pressure than prior to updating the firmware, and it's causing a bit of a headache. I just got my headphones this week and still had Firmware Version 1.1.4 and I was fine using them without any added pressure but since updating to Firmware v. 1.3.1 last night it's been a different story. I wanted to see if anyone else has been experiencing this? I wish I could downgrade back to the Firmware v. 1.1.4 but alas after research I know that it's no longer possible to downgrade to a prior Firmware update.
Thank you for your hard work!
However, I have a few suggestions...
1. Please allow us to disable the touch control. Sometimes simplicity is a lot more elegant than complexity that fails due to accidental touch.
2. Please allow us to continue using this headphone while charging over USB C
Thank you
Yes! This has fixed the 700's ability to enable them and another set of bluetooth headphones to simultaneously receive a TV bluetooth signal. Until now the 700's sound just broke up.
