Poor audio quality with cable connection BOSE 700

Hi, whenever I plug the headphones to my computer the audio quality is very poor unless I turn them on.

 

It never happened to me before. I used to plug them in while turned off and the audio quality was great.

 

What is the problem?

I am very sorry sorry to hear that your Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 appear to have poor audio connected to your computer. 

 

Does this poor audio happen with a cabled connection to all devices you plug your headphones into?

I have the same issue with my 700s... When I use the cable either with my phone or with my computer the audio drops dramatically. Even turning the volume up to the max in both devices. 
So the max volume with the cable will be around the 20% or 30% vs the bluetooth.

Is there any way to solve this?
