My QC35s and Ae2s both skip if I am playing music on my Windows PC and have them also connected to my Pixel 3 phone.
If I disconnect the phone then the music is perfect.
I also have a set of Jabra Elite 65ts which do not do this so the problem is related to the Bose headphones.
Any ideas on how I can fix this

Had the same, djhampson!
I "resolved" by disabling the connection to the phone using the Bose App - the stuttering immediately went away. It continued working well even after reactivating the connection, let's see now how long both devices can coexist until I have to apply this "fix" again 😛

My QC 35 ii's have been cutting out quite a bit since I first got them around the beginning of April. I'm in Canada, and they are updated to the most recent firmware updates, so I'm not too sure what's wrong. At first I thought it was just on my PC that they were cutting out, but recently it's also been on my iPhone, to the point where they have been unusable.
There will be random spurts of cutting (maybe cutting in and out for around 5 seconds) about once every 30s or so. This happens on both my PC and iPhone, as previously stated. I have cleared the Bluetooth list on the headphones, and unpaired all devices through the app multiple times. Nothing I have done so far seems to work.
If anyone has any ideas about how to fix this, please let me know.

QC35 2 headphones wont connect over bluetooth no matter what i try. All tips and tricks on youtube to this community have been tried and none of them work. Bluetooth adadpters all uptodate, firmware uptodate, unpaired and when the headset does show itself to my PC i can sometimes 1 try out of 10 and then it will DC after about 30 secounds despite me trying to blast music through it.
So primary issue - wont connect to bluetooth/cant be seen/doesnt stay connected
All previous tips and tricks tried and everything is uptodate
Based ENG UK
High spec RIG
Works connected to my phone perfectly fine but this is for PC use not mobile.

It doesent connect for me if I click on the device that directly shows up. But If I click on "Add Bluetooth or other device" on the top and then click on bluetooh, then I can connect from there. Once connected, I dont need to reconnect, it automatically pairs.

I have this same problem on Windows 10 while also using an Xbox wireless controller. This is pretty easy to confirm. With the Xbox controller disconnected, audio is fine. When the Xbox controller connects, immediately there is audio stuttering in the QC35 ii headphones. Disconnecting the Xbox controller immediately fixes things.

I think if you closely at the thread title and even the opening line of you initial statement. it just mentions the Bluetooth Stuttering/Dropping out. Not your AV Receiver. He fixed my issue.
Lighten up chump.
constantly cutting out and stops playing music
stays connected to bluetooth however the music stops playing
this occurs across apple music, podcasts, google music, radioapp
I have turned off, reset but the problem still occurs
Interesting, I have surface pro and the same mouse....that’s where it happens more frequently than elsewhere....I also have the problem when connected to my Samsung tv via appletv though just not as frequently. Might try turning off my mouse to see what happens...might have to go back to a cable mouse
