I am having the exact same issue too.
iPhone X and Dell XPS13
Would appreciate some response from Bose to acknowledge the issue and take ownership of resolving it.
It seems a perfectly reasonable use case for this device and it is clearly not functioning as designed imho.

okay I think I know what is happening here but bit of background would be useful. My QC 35 was working perfectly fine on my iPhone till I hooked it up to my iPad also and then the issues that you describe started happening.
None of the reset methods described by the desk here, re-pairing, cleaning out worked for me. Spent a frustrating full day on this. By chance I happened to also notice that after re-pairing, the Google Assistant app wouldn’t reconnect to the headphones. Quickly realized that Google Assistant creates another Bluetooth connection for the headphones with the prefix LE-xxxx. I deleted this, reset the headphones and connected again, and voila!, no drops after that.

I had the same problem with an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the original Bose QC35, at some point it started disconnecting from the iPhone very frequently, with no apparent reason, and what solved the problema for me was the following:
Hope this helps anyone, as this has been annoying me for several weeks until now.

This issue is driving me nuts as well. It seems to have gotten worse over the past 3 months, and it only occurs when connected to my Windows machines (any of my multiple machines). When I'm connected to bluetooth on my Windows machines, my iPhone X is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting - very distracting!
- resetting my QC35 headphones, and removing all devices, then repairing.
- plugging it in and then connecting again.
I do not have multiple Bluetooth connections listed on my phone (i.e there is no LE-Bose QC35 connection - just the regular Bose QC35 option).
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community!
Sorry to hear bout your headphones. May we know if the firmware of your headphones is current and up to date?
The latest firmware is Version 4.8.1. and the latest app version is 16.0.
Here is the LINK to update.
Hope that helps!

I returned my new Bose 700 because it keep connecting and disconnecting. I bought the Quiet QC35 II and down loaded the latest firmware and app and it's still doing the same thing. I've tried every suggestion in the forum. I have an iphone 12 and Thinkpad X1.

I have this exact same problem with my iPhone Pro 11 and my MacBook Pro and my QC 35 II. I have the latest firmware installed on the Bose headphones: 4.8.1. When connected to my MacBook Pro the Bose QC 35 II constantly disconnects and reconnects to the iPhone. Have had this same problem with previous iPhone models and Mac models. This problem has been around for years, and obviously impacts many users. When is Bose going to take action and actually fix this bug? This is really frustrating and is not anywhere near the level of quality that I have come to expect from the Bose brand.
