I 've tried to pair but the Q35 does not recognize my Macbook and my macbook pro won't show the QC35 in the BT pair list

Hi Skipperalain,

thank you for your post and welcome to the Bose Community!

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties connecting your QC35 II's to your Macbook and Macbook Pro. I will be more than happy to assist you with this!

Are you able to connect your headphones to other devices? Such as a Mobile Phone?

Are your headphones going into pairing mode? If you slide the slider to the far right, so you get the blue light indicator?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Kindest,

I have the same problem -- my headphones do not show up in the list of found devices on my mac's bluetooth pairing setup screen.  I have successfully connected to an android phone.  Mac info: 2018 model, OS 10.13.6.

Hi Lani456,

Thank you for your contribution to the thread and welcome!

Thank you for providing this information!

Have your QC35's always had this issue? Or is it something that has recently started happening?

They're brand new -- first time ever trying to connect.

Hi Lani456,

Thank you for this information.

Do your headphones go into pairing mode with the Blue LED light? If the light is white, push the switch over to Bluetooth.

Let me know!

Hello Lani456,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you please try clearing the pairing list on the headphones. This can be done by holding the Power/Bluetooth switch in the Bluetooth position for approximately 10 seconds until you hear the prompt "Bluetooth device list cleared". Please note, you will need to remove these from the device list on any other devices you have connected with previously. Once you have done this, please try the pairing process with your MacBook Pro again.

Let me know how this goes.

Warm regards,

Charlotte G
