QC35 II too loud on video calls

I recently purchased QC35 II headphones and my experience has been good so far.  One issue has been that video calls (on Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google) have all been unbearably loud.

I have to manually reset the volume settings in Windows for each call, reducing from the usual 100 (see below) to 5 or 10 to make the volume bearable.  The normal overall volume control seems to have no effect on the video call volume; this has been the only fix for me so far.

Thanks for your help.

Re: QC35 II too loud on video calls

Hi benlewellyn,

Sorry to hear you're having issues with the audio level!

  • Does this occur with a cabled connection as well as Bluetooth?
  • Have you tried using these platforms on another device to see if this persists?
  • I would also take a look into the audio settings directly in the apps you're using to see if this can be altered.

I look forward to hearing from you!
