Quietcomfort 35 II paired to Bluetooth Transmitter (Surround System 0.25" plug output)

Bose 35 II headset.  Surround sound receiver can RECEIVE Bluetooth but not transmit.  Purchased a Bluetooth device that inputs audio signal from the receiver's 0.25" phone jack, and transmits Bluetooth signal but Bose headset will NOT pair.   Any device work?

Because neither device has a screen, it can make it more difficult.  Often it's a matter of what searches for what first.  So try different combinations.  Put headphones into pairing mode first, then the transmitter.  Then the other way around.

I tried virtually every sequence I could imagine.  Transmitter first.  Headset first.  These headsets sound great as long as they have been paired with a device utilizing the Bose app.  I wish I knew of a proven transmitter that could utilize the 0.25" headphone jack on my surround sound as the audio input.   Will keep trying as Bose Tech Support rep stated this will not work...........
