Quietcomfort 35 (not II) microphone stopped working in windows 10
I am running Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016
Version 1607 build 14393.3595
I have the original quietcomfort 35 headphones. They were working fine up until today.
Now, whenever I use the microphone in windows, it's like the gain is cranked to the max. Any sound pegs the levels and it's just a blast of static. Have verified in multiple applications.
It's not the headphones, as the mic works fine on my mobile device.
I have removed and reinstalled ALL of my audio drivers and bluetooth drivers more than once. Have also reset the firmware on the headphones to version to 2.5.5
I suspect that having access to the windows control setting "microphone boost" might be able to remedy the issue, but I don't have access to it under this hardware.
Not sure where to go from here with my $500 headphones.
