Notice

The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Stolen 700 Headphones

We had painters in our house at the end of December 2020 and our noise canceling 700 headphones were removed from their case and taken. We assumed they would turn up, along with a missing iTunes gift card from Xmas days before, but never did.

Is there a forum like Reddit where we can post the serial numbers from stolen goods for those buying them secondhand and wishing to return them to the rightful owner? How sad Bose does not support resolution in the myriad of these situations.

It is unbelievable BOSE, a high-end tech innovator, does not provide serial tracking for device registration. Most companies provide this ability with app-operated devices. This is a lot of money to spend on a company that does not offer inexpensive app-based registration tracking. We have many Bose products and I will no longer be purchasing from them due to the high theft rate and zero consumer protection. My headphones were in warranty, there is no reason they could not provide information as to whether my specific device has been registered on new devices.

Re: Stolen 700 Headphones

Hey JJ3487,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Bose Community!

I'm so sorry to hear that your NC 700 headphones have been stolen. The Community is a space for troubleshooting products and we are unable to assist with customer service-related issues.

I would recommend that you get in touch with the local authorities and alert them to your missing property.
