I have connected my Bose QC 35 II both to my computer (Bluetooth) and to my phone (also Bluetooth). When I am connected to my phone, there is no problem, the noise cancelling works perfectly, but when I switch over to my computer, all ambient sounds suddenly become enhanced (just like when you are on the phone with someone), and that kind of makes the noise cancelling pointless.
Connected to my phone, playing a song while brushing over my sweater with my hand:
- Can't hear the brushing
Connected to my computer, playing the same song while brushing over the sweater:
- Sound is enhanced.
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bose Community.
I'm sorry to hear about this issue you are encountering. It is certainly strange.
Would you be able to connect your QC35 II's to your computer using the cable and let me know if it sounds the same as when you connect with Bluetooth?
I would also recommend performing a reset on the headphones. You can do this by following these steps:
It is also recommended that you ensure your headset is running the latest firmware. You can do this via the Bose Connect App or by visiting btu.bose.com on your computer and following the onscreen instructions. Here is an article that will help you: Updating your headphones
Get back to me with the results and I will be happy to assist you further.
