We have a multitude of Soundcomm B40 headsets, and we'd like to connect them to a PC.
Which cables/devices do we need to do that? Probably some kind of DAC?
Do you have ideas of devices & maybe their amazon links? I'd highly appreciate it!
Bose product name
Bose SoundComm B40
What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on
Welcome to the Community, thanks for joining us!
As the SoundComm headsets aren't designed to be used with computers, we wouldn't be able to advise on how to set one up to be used with your computer. You may be able to find a 3rd party DAC that would allow you to do this, but it is worth bearing in mind that most commercial DACs for home use will use a 3-pin XLR rather than the 4/5-pin XLR that the SoundComm uses (depending on the version of the B40 you have) as 3-pin XLRs are the most common version used for microphones.
If anyone in the Community has had any success using a SoundComm B40 with a computer, it would be great to hear how you managed this and what you used!

Hi, Keith, what's the closest thing Bose makes to the B30 or B40 that is designed to be used with a computer? Preferably wirelessly.
I am looking for something that is super high quality and has top-notch noise-cancelling and sound quality for both the speakers and the mic.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
Thank you for reaching out to us and welcome!
I would recommend the Noise-Cancelation 700 UC headphones. I have included the LINK HERE for all the information you need.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!
