It also occurred in my house, battery use only.
And I felt increase another noise set ANC high.
So I try set Auto power off .

First of all,I turned off auto power.
White noise remained audible.
Battery only,remove the battery and only the aircraft power
I tried,but it was a similar result.
When the connector is removed from the aircraft,the sound disappears,but when connected again,White noise has occurred.
I've done a lot of things.
When The Aircraft audio was low,the white noise was obviously reduced.
I don't know if it's the right way,but it had the number one effect.
In addition,there was hum noise when there was an iOS device charging.
It was eliminated by keeping it away from the controller.

Then I tried on different aircraft of the B787.
White noise occurs when the power is turned on.
The noise increases when connected,and it was the same for all aircraft.
I continue to use aircraft audio with low.
In terms of ANC,if it is LOW,white noise is larger than the in-flight noise.
MID feels the most preferable,but white noise is still heard.
In HIGH,there is a feeling of ear clogging peculiar to noise cancellation,and white noise Sounds.
As a result,I always use it in MID.

I'm having the same issue with white noise with my Pro Flight 2 headset as well. I love everything else about it, but the constant "hiss" that I hear is rather annoying. Playing music helps to not hear it, even though I know it's always there. Has anyone gotten their headset replaced or fixed to resolve this issue. This happens ANYTIME the headset is ON. It's most prevalent when it's in HIGH ANC mode, regardless of if it's plugged in to aircraft or not.
I've learned to live with this issue. It's a bit annoying but it's tolerable. I really wish this would be addressed/acknowledged as a known issue or at least a known by-product of the ANR technology being used by this headset. Unfortunately, I've been sent 3 new headsets from Bose and ALL have had the same exact issue.
