Soundlink Revolve does not start after firmware update

Hi

I just bought a soundlink revolve a few days ago. I was happy with the product.

Today I connected it to my laptop and ran firmware update to the latest one (1.5?). The existing firmware was 1.0.7. Firmware update seemed started successfully but in the middle I got the following error message:

Thank you for writing in, and sorry to hear that this is happening, especially so soon! I appreciate the troubleshooting you have done already, let's take a look at few other things. 

 

To confirm, the speaker will not power back on? And have you tried different USB cables and ports? 

 

Let's also try resetting the speaker:

  1. Unplug the speaker from power and turn it on. The battery must be charged to do this.
  2. Press and hold the Multi Function Button for 10 seconds.
  3. Release and try the speaker again.

Correct. The speacker does not power back on. I tried a different USB cable, which I know is working, and confirmed the speaker did not power back on. I also followed the three steps but it did not power back on...
