Bose Frames Sizes

Hi I just got the Bose Frame Alto model and it's too large. I dont really like the style of the Rondo frames. Are there any plans to release the Alto model in a smaller frame size? Thanks.

Hello gramg,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Bose Community.

We're sorry to hear the Alto Bose Frames are too large for you. I will pass this feedback along to development for you.

As for additional sizes, we only have two types of Bose Frames, Alto, and Rondo.

Frames Alto: 58 - 22 - 150, rectangular lens
(Lens width - Bridge width - Temple length)

Frames Rondo: 56 - 20 - 140, round lens
(Lens width - Bridge width - Temple length)

We do not have any further details on if there will be additional sizes of the Bose Frames.

Any new information on the Bose Frames will be updated on Bose.com.

Kind Regards,

Joel - Community Support

Re: Bose Frames Sizes

What are the exact sizes for Bose frames?

Can you tell us how to take measurements to decide which option Alto or Rondo will fit before placing the order online?

Re: Bose Frames Sizes

I agree. Frames are too large to sit on my nose. I bought some adhesive nose pads on Amazon that help, but i think Bose could do a better job with the fit for frames. Maybe even a spring loaded arm to keep them tighter on the head.

Re: Bose Frames Sizes

Hi,

Currently under specs at Bose.com site sizes of frames are given as follows:

Frames Rondo: Smaller fit
49.5 mm - 15.5 mm - 154 mm
(Lens width - Distance between lenses - Temple length)

Frames Alto: Larger fit
52 mm - 18 mm - 162 mm
(Lens width - Distance between lenses - Temple length)

Earlier, corresponding sizes were different.

Should be presume that earliear sizes has been discontinued and ABOVE are the sizes which will be shipped on order.

Re: Bose Frames Sizes

I've got the square ones.  There is no way to adjust the arms at the back to make them tighter and no way to adjust the frames or the nose.  BOSE needs to include AT LEAST nose pads out of silicone for the nose or these puppies slip.  I've shared with about 10 people and had them try the glasses on.  Men and women.  All felt the slip.  Lots of money to have a pair of glasses that I cannot eeally enjoy.  Bose is a DESIGN firm and they usually pre-thing ergonamics.  Big failure here and they need to do somethign to help all us early adopters.

Re: Bose Frames Sizes

Hi Mahendara Pratap,

Thanks for posting and sharing the sizing on Bose Frames.

We appreciate everyone's input and are excited to see what the future brings with this product!

We currently do not have a way to tell you how to measure for Bose Frames, but we encourage you to try them, and there is a return policy if they don't work out for you.

Have a good day!

Hello Don# and StarManager,

Thank you both for the posts!

We truly appreciate the feedback about the nose pads, I will share this with development.

Besides that issue, how are enjoying your Bose Frames?

Re: Bose Frames Sizes

So can you explain to me why my box says that they come in a size small or large?

Re: Bose Frames Sizes

Hi Kmrtzl,

Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community.

The Frames come in two sizes. You have Alto, which is the larger size, and Rondo, which is the smaller size.

I hope this helps!

Kindest,
