Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

just received my new frames 

even at the lowest volume setting the noise leakage is such that you can hear exactly what the wearer is listening to. At high volume the leakage is disruptive to anyone around you. When we tested these in John Lewis you could hear nothing until you put the frames on. It would appear that the pair we have are faulty?

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

on first use, received them as a gift yesterday
