How can I hardware reset?

Hi, I love to use Frames with v4.1.6 firmware.

Recently, I was aware that I couldn't control the volume.  When I pushed and held the button, Siri started.

In addition, even when I flipped the frames upside down for 2 sec, the frames wasn't turned off.

How do I solve this issue? or pls let me know how to reset frames.

Thanks.

Re: How can I hardware reset?

Hello Setoatu,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community! We're sorry to read that you are experiencing some volume and power issues with your Frames.

There is not any factory or standard reset procedures for the Frames, meaning that this isn't something you will be able to do.

As your Frames are already updated and are unable to be powered off, I would highly recommend getting in touch with our customer service team via clicking this link, then kindly scroll and select your region, once this is done please scroll to Contact Us. The team will be on hand and ready to help.

Sorry that this isn't something we could resolve via the community.

Re: How can I hardware reset?

Was there a solution for this issue?  I have just picked up my second pair of Bose Frames after the speakers failed in my first pair after owning them for less than a week.  Now my new pair has this issue where they won't turn off when upside down.  Hopefully this is an easy fix.

Re: How can I hardware reset?

Hi JeremyDaniel,

I'm sorry to hear you're encountering that particular issue. Does the Frames LED not turn off when you place the Frames upside down for two seconds? What I'd recommend trying to fix this is first updating the firmware to the latest version HERE. You will notice this clears any underlying issues - let us know if the Frames respond any differently.
