Last year, users complained that the "Stay Logged In" checkbox, when logging into this forum, had no effect. It still doesn't. This is a simple behavior implemented widely across the net in communities similar to this one. Heck, I've implemented it myself on a site I run. It does need to be done properly - I use the method described here (not using the "Gatekeeper" code they link to, as it is incomplete) with a second cookie set to combat "session fixation".
Please either implement the feature or remove the checkbox so as to not mislead and frustrate your users.
The "Keep me logged in" option still does not work. This is now 6 months after it was reported to the web development team.
I've been having to login daily for months now, every day I reselect this option knowing full well it doesn't work!
@Brandon_M, please can you update the web team that this is still an issue.
Thank you for letting us know.
I will forward this to the web development team for you.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Just adding a +1
It's very annoying having to log in every day, or even more than once a day. If you want to encourage users to keep coming back to the forum, this should be a high priority.
Thanks for looking into the problem.
