I have Bose 901 Direct Reflecting Powered Speakers that I purchased in 1998 but never used until now (long story). They play very well for a minute, but then the volume level drops as if a circuit that's designed to protect the speakers from blowing out is kicking in (even when not playing them very loudly). These are really sweet speakers and I'm will to pay a lot to have them repaired.
1. Is there anyone (including a retired Bose employee) in the Boston area who can fix these?
2. How can I get wiring diagrams for these speakers?
