I have a problem I would like to address. I have SA-5, S-30 and wireless in my house and when I play music from Spotify the volume control is going up and down by it self when I us the Sound Touch app. If I go to Spotify app I looks like it's normal. The challenge is controlling the volume level for the different rooms. What's the best way to handle this issue?

Re: SA-5

Hello Widar,

Thanks for getting in touch via the Bose Community. Welcome to the site.

There are a few factors to consider when using the speakers in group playback.

1. There are multiple volume controls when your SoundTouch devices are grouped.

2. Each speaker's volume can be adjusted within the group's settings.

3. Your smartphone's volume buttons may be linked to control the volume level of Spotify. If you are using the speakers as a group, all speakers will change volume.

4. When your speakers are grouped, they will appear on Spotify's app as the main speaker's name's group e.g: "SoundTouch 30 Group" The volume on Spotify is singular and will affect all speakers.

My recommendation for controlling each speaker individually would be to use the SoundTouch app as this will give you the greatest level of control.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
