Does this low audio quality occur when you connect your headphones to another audio device? A different laptop or phone will do fine.
I would also perform a reset of your headphones, to do this please follow the below instruction.
Have you recently performed any updates with your Iphone XR? Which IOS software is your mobile on?
Does the low audio also occur on all streaming platforms for listening to audio? For example does spotify audio differ to youtube?
