Bose QC 35 1.2.9 update roll back to 1.0.6

I just purchased these headphones 2 hours ago and was very disappointed with the update issue. Yes it does degrade sound quality and decreases bass response. You will even notice a massive loss of quality in the noise canceling. I looked around and found a fix, this worked for me. Went from the update 1.2.9 back to 1.0.6. Steps are listed below

1. Go to btu.bose.com on a PC or Mac computer

2. Plug your headset into the PC or Mac via USB

3. Click on the QC35 product

4. The update page will load and tell you the software is up to date

5. While on this screen type the following 5 keys sequentially: ‘a’ ‘d’ ‘v’ ‘<UP arrow="">’ ‘<DOWN arrow="">’. The page will then allow you to choose version 1.0.6 from the drop down menu, then click “apply changes”

7. The Firmware will begin to load. This process may take between 5 and 10 minutes depending on ISP and network conditions. Do not disconnect the headset until the process is complete.</DOWN></UP>

Re: Bose QC 35 1.2.9 update roll back to 1.0.6

Why are you posting this? The solution has been put up by BOSE on another thread - the one you posted this to earlier and I pointed out had the rollback steps on the first post.
