Bose QC35 1 ANC not working during calls (also background noise intensifies)

Hello,

I've noticed on my QC 35 that when I make a Skype call, ANC is turned off. Not only that, the background noise intensifies. I am running the most recent firmware.

Any idea why? This is not only annoying, but it's also uncomfortable.

Hello ariod,

Thanks for reaching out. Welcome to the Bose Community!

Our Bluetooth headphones use a feature called Sidetone which is enabled when the headphones are being used in a call to allow you to hear yourself. Without sidetone, it can be somewhat distracting to hear a muffled representation of your voice and can have an impact on your speech. As the headphones feed external sound into the speakers of the headphones it is normal to also hear your surroundings more than you generally would when ANC is enabled. This only occurs if you are in a call.

Thanks.
