Bose Sport in-ear/no FaceTime audio

I recently purchased Bose Sport. When I get a FaceTime call, Siri announces the call through the earpiece, but the actual call is only via speaker phone. Is this a bug?

Thank you for writing into the community and sorry for the trouble you're having. Can you please try refreshing the Bluetooth connection by removing and re-pairing your devices? 

What other apps have you tried and does it only happen with FaceTime?
