The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Can pair but not connect on Windows 10

I cannot connect my headphones to my computer. Pairing works fine, connecting does not; the issue is the same as that described here, here, and here - attempting to connect is refused with the error "That didn't work. Make sure your Bluetooth device is still discoverable, then try again"

It functioned correctly the first time, but it has never worked correctly since. I have attempted all of the steps in all of these threads, with no success. The headphones work with a different Windows 10 device. All relevant software and firmware is fully up to date, including the QC35 IIs, bluetooth dongle (MPOW) driver, and Windows itself. Restarting services, rebooting the computer, reinstalling drivers, and every other step described in the threads above, have failed. I need something new.

Current opinion of Bose: severely disappointed. I'm holding off leaving reviews to that effect until I've given you a chance to fix this however.
