Re: Manually disable noise cancelling on QC35

I'm sticking with my factory fitted 1.0.6 firmware for the time being then.

I love the sound i get from my 35's,its slightly better than my soundlinks bt headphones (even though i really like them).

The ANC does slightly bug me being always on,and i think it gives me a bit of a headache after a while, but don't want to mess about with the new FW.

I've found the stutterings stop when only connected to one device at a time.

Wind noise seems to be more of an issue than my soundlinks, and i seem to get a weird feeling in the headsets when walking, exactly like someone mentioned on here.

I've a few weeks left before i can decide whether i'm keeping them or not, still not sure.

My soundlinks are no trouble at all compared to these qc35's

Re: Manually disable noise cancelling on QC35

Hi,

I just bought these headphones but it would be great if you can add the option to control the intensity of noise cancelling via app. Even in older QC35.

Thanks for the post. You can disable ANC on the QC35 by using the Bose connect app.

These are the modes you will find:

High – World-class noise cancellation with Bose optimized audio. This is the same as full ANC and there have been no changes.

Low – Noise Cancellation fine-tuned for audio listening in quieter or windy environments.

Off – Noise cancellation disabled.

Here is a link to a post that has more information about it.

Thanks!

Tony

Re: Manually disable noise cancelling on QC35

Hello Bose Team,

I just got the Bose QC35 couple of days ago and so dissapointed to know ANC cant be adjusted or deactivated.

Could you please provide this option in the software so I can use em comfortably soon?

I hope Bose wont take too long to fix this!

Re: Manually disable noise cancelling on QC35

Just to be clear... The ANC can be disabled with the Bose App, does this mean it can only be disabled when using my mobile device? What if I disable it via the app and then connect to my Macbook? Will the settings persist or will they default back to ANC being turned ON?
