Last Friday, as I was in a call (I rely heavily on my on-ear headphones for call), it died silently.
As I may had been close to low battery, I switched to other headphones, and put it to charge.
A few hours later, I tried to use it again, but as I unplugged it, it seemed quite hot, and not LED was lit.
And I could not switch it on.
Today, I've tried the reset procedure (switch off, wait 30 sec, plug for 5 seconds, unplug, wait 60 secs, switch on), and it still doesn't switch on.
And not LED shows whether plugged or not.
Only connected passively through the cable make it work, I'd be inclined to think the electronics have either died or need some reset.
Any hint of what I could do, do I need to get it replaced/repaired?

Thanks for posting. I am sorry to hear about your headphones. If your headphones are under a year old, they would still be covered under a warranty. I would recommend contacting your local support team for assistance. Here is a link you can use. Click on your region, scroll down until you see "Contact Us."
