The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

NC 700 won't let me use the mic

I can't find a way to use my nc 700 for Microsoft Teams on my laptop. It has no problems connecting through Bluetooth and audio works fine buth it doesn't give me access to the mic. I have setup Ms Teams to allow it.

Also tried to via cable with the same result, albeit a humming noise that all on the Teams meeting could here.

Are the nc 700 not able to work using Ms Teams, or is there some setup to be done that I have missed?

Re: NC 700 won't let me use the mic

I didn't get my nc700's to ever work properly with Teams, or google meet.

The salesperson in the shop I bought them from assured me they would be amazing for computer voice calls. My experience for computer calls has been that these headphones do not work well. Perhaps my example was just a bad pair.

It seems Bose are going to bring out a version specifically for computer calls - hopefully there will be a goodwill deal for those who are frustrated at their major purchase of an nc700 not working with computer audio very well! )
