The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

No WiFi when QC35 start playing on Macbook Pro

Hey,

I got the QC35 for xmas (yeha). I love them.

I started using them right away, but started to see issues playing netflix videos. I noticed that I get ultra high pings and packet loss on my Macbook Pro (latest OSX) the moment any sound is played through the paired headphones (issue startes only the second I start a song or a movie).

The pings go up like this:

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1371 ttl=56 time=15.905 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1372 ttl=56 time=10.369 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1373 ttl=56 time=3.686 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1374 ttl=56 time=16.818 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1375 ttl=56 time=9978.812 ms

Request timeout for icmp_seq 1385

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1376 ttl=56 time=10464.034 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1377 ttl=56 time=9682.286 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1378 ttl=56 time=8685.881 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1379 ttl=56 time=7687.760 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1380 ttl=56 time=6688.418 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1381 ttl=56 time=5702.091 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1382 ttl=56 time=4699.290 ms

And even higher - and  basically makes neither surfing nor streaming possible.

The moment I turn OFF my QC35, my internet connection is perfect:

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1435 ttl=56 time=5594.267 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1436 ttl=56 time=4596.816 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1439 ttl=56 time=1608.315 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1440 ttl=56 time=612.009 ms <- this is when I turn QC35 off

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1441 ttl=56 time=5.928 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1442 ttl=56 time=59.080 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1453 ttl=56 time=10.205 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1454 ttl=56 time=5.473 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1455 ttl=56 time=9.575 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1456 ttl=56 time=8.288 ms

64 bytes from 216.58.201.174: icmp_seq=1457 ttl=56 time=5.365 ms

This is a major issue, it basically means I can not use the Qc35 with my 2015 macbook pro.

Any help?

Simon

Re: No WiFi when QC35 start playing on Macbook Pro

Hi Phoe,

Thanks for the post. Are you experiencing the same issue when paired with a smartphone or tablet? If possible try the QC35 on another macbook as well.

We are aware several macbook pro users with similar issues when paired with any headset. This could indicate that it is not an issue with your headphones.  In which case we recommend reaching out to Apple for further support.

Let us know of your findings
